This antique English luggage piece has been crafted into a side table with a custom iron base. The trunk has the initials CGB on the front and was part of a luggage set belonging to an officer in the British Royal Navy. The trunk is a khaki green canvas hard-sided trunk with dark brown leather and brass accents. The interior features a striped lining and hardware meant to hold various items. The luggage maker's tags are on either side of the trunk top (shown in images) and there are some remnants of luggage labels on the piece. The iron base is finished in a charcoal gray and is not permanently attached.

Piece measures 22" W x 18" D x 27.5" H. Surface wear on the trunk is present, the leather is distressed. The hardware within does show signs of rust being present, but overall, the piece is in good condition, structurally sound and the clasps and locking mechanism work well.
